I'll dominate 'credible combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the pair met personally to publicize the upcoming bout.

Ex twice world heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Fighter's Mentality

"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul instead targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.

Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, consistently making massive earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
